The waste electronic and electrical equipment (WEEE) directive (2012/19/EU)
Electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) contains materials, components and substances that may be hazardous. This can present a risk to human health and the environment when this waste is not handled correctly.
Equipment marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin is electrical and electronic equipment. The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol indicates that waste electrical and electronic equipment should not be discarded together with unseparated municipal waste, but must be collected separately. As a consumer, you have an important role in recycling this equipment and contributing to the protection of the environment.
XP Power is registered as a WEEE Producer with the UK Environment Agency and our WEEE registration number is: WEE/HH0049TZ. XP Power meets its obligation to the WEEE Directive in the UK through membership of a Government Approved Producer Compliance Scheme (Accerio) and by providing its customers with a Recycling Programme for end of life products.
When a product reaches its end of life, contact us at xppower.uk@accerio.com to arrange its recycling. XP Power will work with you to arrange for the recycling of the product.
